From Concept to Install

Ready to launch nationwide in 2012 - you can see how the idea matured and grew into this ready-for-market Luxury Electronic Pop-up Boutique
The first of it's kind to include soft goods.

The footprint is 36" wide, 84" long and 80" high and it requires standard 110V power.

The merchandise is all based on supporting human or environmental causes and giving back, but this business is for profit.
60 % of the merchandise will be soft goods and 40 % will be hard goods, the price point will be $20 with a few notable exceptions.
Soft goods will include printed and designer art t-shirts, hats, gloves, scarves etc
Hard goods will include accessories for both clothing and the home.
Here are examples of three items that support the Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand.
•           The first item is an art print painted by an elephant selling for $20
•           The second item is an Elephant sanctuary t-shirt selling for $20
•           The third item would be an Elephant Adoption where an Elephant is purchased on the streets of Bangkok and brought to the sanctuary where the elephant lives the rest of its life with a herd of rescued elephants; this item sells for $10,000. The purchaser would get an engraved brass plaque and specific information with pictures about the elephant they rescued would be sent through the mail from the Sanctuary.

I do not think $10,000 Elephant Adoptions will sell like art prints or t-shirts, but I think the cause is good and it would pay its rent in the buzz it would bring to store.

We will be doing the same thing from planting trees in the rainforest to preserving an acre of rainforest. There will be similar items regarding causes, both human and environmental, including removing landmines in Cambodia to rescuing child soldiers in Africa.

I want to emphasis, this is a for profit enterprise with a give back campaign.  Instead of selling goods from Dolce & Gabana, we are selling goods from organizations like “Invisible Children”.

I would like the first full test to be in a mall here in Florida so I can make hardware and software tweaks quickly, but because of the type of product I feel strongly that it has to have high traffic with a luxury clientele. The target demographic is in two parts, 60% between 18-24, 40% over 24+, both in higher income brackets.

Anything you can suggest, or connections you think I should make are appreciated.
