Inside the “Brazilian Rainforest Tube” for $20 will be:

A t-shirt and the certificate for planting a tree by various organizations and locations along with a “Certificate of Planting” (suitable for framing), location information with photographs and history of the location.

We will also have different designs for each location. A rainforest in Asia will have an Asian inspired t-shirt.

There will be items for various Local, National and International causes.

Some of those items are:

· One of my favorite items is the Favela Bracelet from Rio, this item is a composite of colorful photos of the favela slums in Rio encased in biodegradable resin with the proceeds going to the favela schools.

· Another item is the elephant dung paper Stationary from Vietnam that supports elephant rehabilitation.

For $10,000 the buyer could adopt an elephant from birth through its entire life; inside the tube would be a specific Elephant’s name, picture, and location in Thailand’s Elephant Sanctuary along with Certificate of Adoption.

The webpage will include a monitored photo posting site for customers to post pictures, videos and blogs about the shirts and art items.

Customers will be able to submit and vote on designs via the web; designs accepted and produced will include the artists name and local.

BL*ink Stores will have an inventory of 1080 units.

Product Delivery, Packaging and Returns

PRODUCT DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Items will be packaged in plastic tubing with receipt and marketing material about the artists, printing method, charities and foundations contributed too, etc.

Purchase method will include cash, credit or debit cards. Paypal possible depending on technology availability.

A receipt will be included inside each tube. Same hassle free guarantees you would get from any online retail store.

Returns will be made via mail or internet using a return label.

Items sold will be unique, with designs and products from local artists as well as items from the Not For Profits themselves.

The basic footprint will showcase the open glass front of the machine and a large flat panel video screen creating activity from any angle

· Required spaces is the same as a standard vending machine size, 36x36x72 inches in an interior or covered location

· Electricity required is 120 volt

· Multiple units can be used if space is available

THE BL*ink IDEA

The BL*ink Store was first imagined over 7 years ago by my then 10 year old daughter while she was reminiscing about Surf Shops I had recently sold, she said “wouldn’t it be cool if you could buy t-shirts from a Coke machine?”

My immediate reaction was, “That will never work” but after a second of thought, I said: “Yes it would be cool, but I don’t know how to make it work”.

Even though all those years have passed my creative gears and my passion for making the impossible, possible never stopped...and my desire to spend more time with my family and allowing us all to place input into this amazing concept and to Do Good.

With pride and excitement our idea of BL*ink once a child’s pipe dream is now a reality.

LEADERSHIP and EXPERIENCE

With 20 years of retail multi unit management, and 10 years of growing a single start-up T-shirt store into a local chain of Surf Lifestyle Shops I am ready to take the plunge and open the first BL*ink location.

In addition to 20+ years of retail Management and Ownership I have also spent more than 10 years in Mall and Resort third party operations and facility management. My business experience includes a national portfolio with over 100 mall and resort locations with full contract financial accountability, Marketing, Hospitality and customer experience, Supply Chain and Logistics management.
